Stayed here for may bank holiday (and my birthday) weekend,we had the cabin for 2 nights. Beautifully decorated inside, lovely touches like a bottle of drink and some nibbles for arrival. Met Matthew when we arrived, very helpful host, gave us tips for local area and sent us some pin locations after about areas we had spoken about. Plenty of fire wood and kindling supplied. Hot tub lovely and stayed warm for hours. A very pretty area, was really nice sitting watching the geese fly over to the nature reserve and hearing the cuckoo. Pleasent pub within walking distance and everything around rutland water very close by car. All in all a very relaxing weekend, many thanks!

We had a two night stay in one of the shepherds huts and it was brilliant. The hut was perfect and had everything you needed and also spotlessly clean. Lots to do near by and the hosts are lovely always willing to help or give recommendations. Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just spent a wonderful few days in the most comfortable warm, well equipped Shepard's hut. If you are considering booking this accommodation then go for it! Absolutely beautiful location, fabulous accommodation and lovely hosts. The wood fired hot tub was awesome, it warmed up super quickly and sitting there soaking up the amazing view was so special. There are some great eateries nearby - we really enjoyed the finches arms, the fox and the restaurant at the nearby garden centre called ‘the view’ (for obvious reasons) was seriously good. Cooking over the fire pit at twilight with the was also a great way to spend an evening. I wish we’d booked a longer stay and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much Natalia for making our stay so comfortable and special

Absolutely gorgeous little cabin. My girlfriend has just got back from almost 100 days solo rowing the Atlantic, and it was our first weekend just us. It was really perfect and we will definitely be going back
